Meet Scrappy the Badger

May 30, 2018

Travelbadger is pleased to introduce Scrappy the Badger!  Scrappy is a cheerful, adventurous, and slightly mischievous badger who's true passion is traveling. Since Scrappy’s personality aligns so well with those of us at Travelbadger, it was obvious that Scrappy would make a perfect mascot!

Recently Scrappy enjoyed a wonderful family holiday in Maui, Hawaii.

Once the day of traveling was complete, Scrappy wasted no time taking in all that Maui had to offer.  With the weather being pure perfection around mid 80’s with rain only once (during the night!), Scrappy basked in an abundance of sunshine!

Amongst one of Scrappy’s spoils were the exotic flowers.  While on the Road to Hana there was a plethora to see!  During the Road to Hana’s construction, many plant & tree species were brought in from Asia and the Pacific Islands to help prevent erosion.  Of all these species, the most eye catching was the Rainbow Eucalyptus.  Once Scrappy saw these trees, he just knew he would love to have some back home!  Sadly, these trees cannot withstand frost and Scrappy resides in the great PNW.

During this 2 week period of bliss, Scrappy’s true love became the ocean.  Honestly, none of us could blame him!  With the golden sandy beaches, clear blue water, and surfacing humpback whales, we all asked ourselves if we really had to leave?

But at last like everything in life whether good or bad, it all must come to an end.  Scrappy has these wonderful memories and beautiful pictures to always keep those moments alive!

If you have found yourself head over heels for Scrappy, please follow us on Facebook, Twitter, or Instagram to see where he is traveling to next!  If you would enjoy meeting Scrappy, we always welcome guest bloggers!  Send us an email today if you are interested.

In the spirit of our mascot Scrappy, we want to send some love to all of the pets out there.  Travelbadger has your pets in mind.  A sample of our products include a doggie seat organizer, collapsible food & water bowls, and airline animal crate kits.  Please use code (Scrappy) today to enjoy 25% off of your pet supplies!

At Travelbadger we have serious love for our pets!  So naturally we have to show them off every chance we get!

If you too have serious pet love, we would love to see your precious fur babes!  Post to Facebook or Instagram using hashtag #travelbadgerfanpics.

Until next time,

Autumn, My Love....

September 26, 2018

The wind gusts by, cool and crisp, autumn is in the air.  All around are shades of red, orange, and yellow. The smell of pumpkin and cinnamon sugar drafts by as the friendly chatter is periodically interrupted by rustling leaves.  It is an early morning up on the bluff. This is no ordinary bluff.  This bluff and I go as far back as my early childhood memories.  From pumpkin picking, caramel apples, tractor rides, and corn mazes - the fall harvest festival has begun.
